Welcome to the Official Page of the Separated Subdivision “Applied College of Transport and Computer Technology of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University”!
Established in 1967 as a branch of the Kyiv Radio Engineering Technical School, the Vocational Education and Training (VET) Institution has undergone decades of steady development and modernization. Its reorganizations have been consistently aimed at improving educational quality and aligning training with the needs of the labor market and regional economy. Since 2013, the VET Institution has operated as a separate structural subdivision of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University. It received its current name the Applied College of Transport and Computer Technology of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University in 2020.

Today, the institution is recognized as one of the leading providers of professional pre-higher education in the Chernihiv region. The college currently enrolls over 1,000 students. Following the 2024 admission campaign, it ranked among the Top 40 most popular colleges in Ukraine by number of applications and maintains the largest full-time student body in its category within the region. The college’s main areas of specialization are transport technologies and information technology.(view license)

The academic staff includes 58 educators with relevant professional and practical qualifications. Five of them have international project experience.
In 2025, the College became a winner of the grant competition within the framework of the Multi-Donor Initiative “Skills4Recovery”, which is funded by the European Union, Germany, Poland, Estonia and Denmark, and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the Solidarity Fund PL (SFPL). As a result, the College received non-repayable targeted financial assistance.
In the same year, the College was also selected as a partner institution in the international project “Social Student Companies for Supporting Youth in (Post-)War Ukraine”, implemented by the School of ME in partnership with ChildFund Deutschland e.V., with financial support from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ).
The college also joined the international project “Social Student Companies for Supporting Youth in (Post-)War Ukraine,” implemented with the support of German partners. The project focuses on developing social entrepreneurship among students.
Students of the college regularly participate in national and international competitions, professional contests, and hackathons, demonstrating a strong level of professional training.
The institution’s international activities include participation in grant programs, modernization of technical facilities, development of partnerships with foreign educational institutions, and implementation of modern educational practices.
